Post University is based out of Waterbury, Connecticut and currently operates two adjunct facilities in Meriden and Danbury. The university also offers a variety of degree and certificate programs entirely online. With a comfortable student to faculty ratio of 15:1, Post University stands by its claim of being focused on each student, every day.

All of the academic programs at the school are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Post University grants associate, bachelor, and master degrees, as well as certificates that compliment several of the school's undergraduate programs. The college is known for its accelerated degree programs, which combine weeknight, weekend, and online courses. Classes for these programs all adopt an eight-week format that is equivalent to one term. This accelerated scheduling allows for six terms a year, and students can begin earning their degrees during any of one these terms.
