Friends University has spent over 100 years educating students and preparing them to make meaningful and effective contributions within their communities. The school's main campus is located in Wichita, Kansas, with additional campuses in Topeka and Lenexa. The mission of Friends University is to provide all of its students with a high-quality, liberal arts education that incorporates professional studies within the context of the Christian faith. Although the college is no longer affiliated with the Society of Friends, it continues to uphold the Quaker principles that it was founded upon, including a life-long commitment to learning and self-exploration.

Aside from its three campuses in Wichita, Topeka, and Lenexa, Friends University offers programs in over 30 other locations throughout the state of Kansas. The college's unique assortment of degree offerings includes a two-year degree program offered in the evenings, degree completion programs for working adults, graduate programs, and traditional degree programs for students just beginning their college education, returning to college, or transferring from other institutions.
